Testimony - Steve Adolphs
I feel very connected to New Covenant Bible Church mostly due to our Marriage Matters ABF. It’s helped me
grow in the area of service as I have seen servant hood modeled over and over
again. People step up to help others’ needs in every way. I also appreciate the
fact that there are so many avenues at New Covenant to get plugged in. I have
the opportunity to serve by leading worship in the Thursday night
Watershed Ministry, which is a citywide
movement hosted at the church. The people of New Covenant have been a blessing
in their support of this ministry that is helping young adults in the Cedar
Rapids area go deeper in their relationships with Christ.
One word really sums up how I view New Covenant Bible
Church: family. My wife and I have gained deep relationships with many brothers
and sisters in Christ. We love being able to come together to worship our God
and to go deeper through the community of our ABF.
I truly believe that a church is not simply a building, but
a group of disciples of Jesus Christ. At New Covenant, I truly find this to be
the case.
