Testimony - Heather Adolphs
When my husband, Steve, and I came to New Covenant almost
three years ago, I was new to Cedar Rapids and didn’t know anyone. We visited
the church as well as the Marriage
Matters Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF). It’s been within this ABF that we’ve
met our closest friends. Not only has our marriage been really blessed, but we
also have a ton of fun. The leaders come alongside all of us and we gain from
their wisdom and experience. This ABF has really helped me get connected and not
get lost in the crowd.
One thing I really appreciate about NCBC is
its heart for missions. The church was very supportive of my team as we went to
Kenya in the summer of 2005, and we have received a lot of help in planning a
return trip this summer through the church. There are many options to serve in
missions both locally and around the world.
I also enjoy the many opportunities I’ve
had to get involved at New Covenant, such as the Women’s ministry events,
serving in the Nursery, and playing in the
Orchestra. If anyone is looking for
a way to serve at New Covenant, they are sure to find it!
