Testimony - Cailey Oates
I first came to New Covenant
in 2001, the beginning
of my sophomore year of high school.
The
Sr.High Youth group was a
big part of my life.
My time there introduced me to a lot of
different avenues of service. Now that I’m in college, I attend
Watershed
on Thursday evenings. Watershed is a neat opportunity for young adults
around the city to get together to build connections, not just between people,
but with God. I’ve found that in college, I can get too focused on homework and
exams, so it’s good to stop during the week to reconnect with God.
This past January I had the opportunity to go to
Poland
on a Missions trip with New Covenant. Not only did God work through me to
minister to the students in Poland, but he worked in me. God used others on my
team to minister to me and help me grow in my faith. New Covenant has been there
to help me grow spiritually every step of the way. I look forward to the ways in
which New Covenant will assist me in my walk with Christ as I continue on my
journey
