Adult Bible Fellowship
Our vision is for Singles Together to be an ABF community where single
adults can grow in relationship with God and others.
Who is invited to attend?
Singles Together is multi-generational and single adults of all ages are
welcome.
When & Where
We are no longer meeting on Sunday evenings. We are currently reorganizing. Watch for details. Social events will continue
through the fall.

Hayride & Potluck
Join us a Hayride and Potluck on Saturday, September 20 at 4:00 PM at Walter
and Caprice Rich's home, 1149 Johnson Iowa Rd., Amana. Chili provided, bring a
side dish to share, games and lawn chairs. For directions, call Walter at
721-2437.
Homecoming Parade and Concert
We’re off to the
University of Iowa Homecoming Parade and Concert on Friday,
September 26. A free concert by Chuck Berry at the Pentacrest follows
the parade. Departure time: 4:30 PM - meet at the office side of the church.
Rides provided, if needed. Return time approximately 11:00 PM. Bring your own
lawn chair, money for dinner, drinks/snacks. Children are welcome.
What is an ABF?
An ABF is essentially a congregation within a congregation. It is a mid-sized
group, or community, of 15 to 60 people who come together for fellowship, caring
and the teaching of God’s Word. An ABF provides the heartwarming, nurturing
care we all long to find within the body of Christ. On Sunday nights there will
be time for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. There will also be occasional
social events.
Why an ABF for singles?
Single adults make up about one-half of the American population and continue to
be the fastest-growing marital demographic in America. Twenty-five percent of
households are people now living alone and 32 percent of all family groups with
children are single-parent homes. Of course, single and married adults have the
same basic spiritual needs. However, a ministry to single adults provides an
atmosphere of acceptance and openness where people can discover others with the
similar experiences, hopes and hurts. This ABF provides a place where singles
can establish relationships that are nurtured in a Christian context.
