MTA - Ministry
Training Academy
What is
MTA?
-
A dynamic ministry that
trains and releases children to do the ministry of the Lord.
-
Children who participate in
MTA have demonstrated Christ-like behavior and are pursuing a relationship
with Jesus.
-
MTA provides children with a
unique opportunity to learn ministry through hands-on experience.
Participation in MTA is a privilege that the children must earn and maintain
by demonstrating spiritual growth and regular participation. Specific
requirements have been established to enable MTA’s to be effective. Pick up an
MTA application form at the Children's Information Center in the lobby. If a
child is not able to meet these requirements, they are asked to participate in
SOAR.
What areas can my child choose from as an MTA?

G-Force is a training academy that works with the kids to brainstorm and
lead games for our 3-5 year olds (Flyers) at our Wednesday Night Ministries.

services, Wednesday evenings and special events
Foam Heads
(Puppets)
Foam Heads instructs children in ministry through puppetry. This group

Band Academy (Musical Instruments)
Band Academy is for those
students with the gifts of being able to play an instrument. We are particularly
interested in keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums at this time. (The Band Academy accompanies Children's
Church once a month during the worship music and practices once a month. They
do not meet regularly on Wednesday Nights).
