Meet Brett Knockle
Brett is one of
those sponsors that still thinks dodge ball is fun. You’ll find Brett playing
football with the kids on Winter
Retreats, whiffle ball at our fall Scavananza, or swerving and
diving through the Gladiator course on Wednesday nights. Brett has been a
sponsor for five years and said,
“I love the mixed bag of Middle School ministry:
their sense of humor, spiritual maturity, lack of spiritual maturity, their
enthusiasm, their doubts and pains, their joys and triumphs, their struggles,
the diversity and different backgrounds. I also really enjoy their honesty and
the relational connections I get to make with the kids. I am encouraged in my
own spiritual journey by interacting and observing these kids. And yes, I get to
be a little bit of a goof ball and bean the kids with dodge balls at very high
velocity. What's not to like about that?"
